Recovering Our Humanity.

Conference Speaker: Dr. Ewen Goligher

Christians increasingly experience conflict between traditional Christian moral values and the rapidly evolving moral values expressed in Western culture. Christian ethical commitments are viewed by many in contemporary society as a barrier to human flourishing - to what's truly human and truly good. Social pressures incline untutored Christians to follow the culture's lead on many moral issues. Ethics, therefore, is now a critical priority for discipleship.

During this conference, we will seek to make basic sense of Christian ethics. Examining a range of contemporary moral issues, we will explore what it means to be human and how that shapes how we are to live. Christ, the true human and true image of God, invites and enables us to truly flourish, to become truly human and, therefore, truly good.
